Visual Art – Washington, D.C.

I started painting just a few short years ago: an untrained novice who relished the freedom to create art in a therapeutic, stress-free way. As my stress relief turned into a consistent hobby, I started sharing my artwork with friends and family. They loved my creations and encouraged me to "do more." Slowly but surely, my visions and interpretations have transformed into paintings I want to share with the world. A writer and communicator by trade and in my professional life, I'm inspired by the natural-born creative minds and artists. They encourage me to try new mediums, to fail, to be proud of my work, to keep at it. We are all poetry in motion and I am grateful to be able to express that through my painting.
