Ashley Simone Dyer is a 20 year old Whitehouse institute of Design 2017 graduate. Pursuing her career in fashion from the young age of 14 starting in the AATFA Youth Festival, she created 27 bodies of work spanning a four year stint in the competition, earning her the title of NSW Wearable art 1st Place for 2013, completed during her HSC. Ashley pushed the boundaries continuously by studying a Certificate II in Applied Fashion Design at TAFE whilst completing her HSC at Toronto High School. Since the beginning of her studies at Whitehouse, Ashley pursued many extra curricular avenues such as Costuming Assistant for the ABC and Netflix hit tv show "Soul Mates', Taking on the role of NSW State Co-Ordinator for the AATFA competition itself and running it solely with the help of her mother and friends, Completing a design commission for Sydney's Double Bay Bowling Club, Undertook a Marketing Internship with event brand 'Fotobox' all while balancing these opportunites, a degree and a part time job. Ashley recently created a gown from Fibre-Optic fabric that glows in the dark as part of her final collection 'Erra'. This gown took over 400 hours to hand stitch.
