Visual Art – Ottawa
I'm Natasha, a creative individual currently working in Ottawa, Canada. A graphic designer by trade, and an artist at heart - but I find that word limiting. I paint, draw and sketch, illustrate to complement words, and use design to convey a message. I'm a careful observer and a curious being, constantly in awe and distracted by the world around me. My intention with my work is simple - to create and to inspire.
I graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design from Algonquin College's school of Media and Design in 2012. Since then I've found a comfortable balance between freelance design, commissioned artwork, and personal projects. Most recently I've been specializing in custom realism, my mediums of choice being graphite, charcoal, ink and pastel. I've collaborated with many talented individuals this past year and worked on some incredible projects, such as having my illustrations published and getting into larger scale artwork like as murals. I'm constantly growing as an artist, adapting and defining my style every day and always looking to try something new.
