Danielle N. Oed

Inspired by all things natural, strange, and beautiful, Danielle Oed custom creates works of art that evoke the dark side of the human experience while retaining beauty and a sense of humor. Danielle is fortunate to have grown up in an artistic family who encouraged creative expression and the inclusion of all people and cultures. Influenced by painters and musicians, she began writing at the age of 7, drawing just as early, and painting in high school. Early successes include published poetry and a career in painting with a background in historic restoration. Danielle began showing her artwork in public venues in 2012 and recently opened Nightbird Studio in Parkville, MD. where she focuses on her multi-media collage, furniture painting, artistic re-purposing, and other crafty endeavors.
