Accessories – Los Angeles

Jordan Saenz is a multi-disciplinary artist originally from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She moved to Los Angeles in 2008 to study dance at CalArts, where she was immersed in genre-bending choreography, music, and collaboration. Upon graduating, she began showcasing her own choreographic work and teaching young and professional movers alike. Injury and mental wellness lead her to engage more and more with plants, and the meditation of crafting returned her to a deep sense of self-soothing. Even at an early age, Jordan was eager to create beautiful things she could hold in her hands. She is now the founder of Paperchild Handmades, making original artisan goods out of fiber, paper, and plants. She’s interested in integrating holistic and spiritual wellness into her craft through the lens of herbal and astrological medicine. Jordan continues to make, dance, and teach while studying with the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine.
