Visual Art – Raleigh
Visual artist based out of Knightdale, NC for the time being. Ink is my favorite medium, but I have a ton of acrylic and latex paint, so... lemons...lemonade, and all that jazz. Art has always resonated with me, but it really hit home in High School, through the aid of social media when I posted an ink piece I was working on. A connection was sparked between the people behind the screen, and myself through the art. A connection with people that hadn’t been so easily achieved in the past. The feedback fueled a fire inside of me.. What a rush. I was able to finally connect with people. My works range dramatically, as I am continuously being inspired and have so much to learn. As of now, I am mainly painting in more natural colors, and scenes: a completely different turn from my usual vibrant abstract pieces. Moving with the waves, sometimes coming back to shore to rework pieces using the newly recovered pieces of myself while lost at sea.. Art is my euphoria in all of the chaos of life... and I like to think we can find a little bit of it in every situation, no matter how hard. I am eager to keep learning through this colorful journey. How amazing to have an outlet to express emotions, to connect with others, to learn and to grow.
