Sara Bott

Visual Art – Milwaukee

Sara Bott was born September 28th, 1988 in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Sara took an early interest in art and her passion for all forms of it only intensified moving forward. Bott attended Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design with a major in painting and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Bott has since shown her works in various local exhibitions including a collaborative show with close friend John Kowalczyk for Bay View Gallery Night at A.C.E. Carriage House Gallery, titled “Synergistic Shaman”. In addition, Bott was part of the first round of Project Blackboard alongside Reginald Baylor at Black Sheep MKE and will be participating in the third Culture Jam installment, “Guns and Money”. Naturally, Sara continues to explore new textures, mediums and inspirations including medias such as chalkboards, jewelry and shoes. She is also working toward developing an in home studio amidst expanding her artistic & personal horizons. Sara Bott is currently working from her 6th floor studio in the Marshall Building as part of Plaid Tuba located in the Historic Third Ward of downtown Milwaukee.
