Sara Cameron

I am a student at the University of Memphis. I am studying to get my Bachelors in Fine Art with a concentration in Photography and a minor in Art History. I fell in love with photography my senior year in high school. I love photographing anything that comes to mind or crosses my path. I love being able to create in all mediums. I have recently picked up painting and ceramics and have fallen in love with both! My most recent work of photography has been macro work. I wanted to take the ordinary, something that we were all familiar with and make unidentifiable. In this case I chose candy. Candy is a substance that every one of us has history with and can relate to, it brings back memories for us all. I photographed different types of candies and manipulated them to make them something unknown and make us question their real substance.
