Visual Art – Houston
Sarita Ackerman is inspired by a love of color, fashion, and contemporary art. Her approach to a subject matter results in a unique interpretation of figures, abstracts and landscapes. Her paintings move from the representational to the abstract, a three-dimensional object becomes a simple two dimensional pattern. Her experimentation with color relationships complements these abstractions. Ultimately, each work is playful, alive and unlike anything else.
A native of Houston, Texas, as a painter, Sarita receives commissions from commercial clients and personal collectors throughout the United States.
The artist currently lives in Katy, Texas.
