The Downtalkers

The Downtalkers are an indie rock group based in Ottawa, ONT Canada, and consists of Donovan Smith (Guitar, Vocals) James Leahy (Keyboards) and Gabe Leahy (Bass Guitar, Vocals). The group formed in the wake of 2018 after the eventual dissolution of a former band that all the members had been a part of. Taking influences from the emotional and personal song writing of Indie music and the raw and stripped down intensity of garage rock. the group has been gigging around locally and writing new music steadily during it's lifespan and have developed their own unique sound among it's peers.
