I started making dolls in 2004 while stationed in Kuwait. I never was infatuated with dolls so the ideal of being a doll maker was not intentional. My neighbor sent me small gourds to paint during my off time for she knew I love to create. I painted faces on the small gourds and began to make dolls. I cut up a pillow from my bed to form the body and ordered online fabric to make the clothes. Ever since I have created only dolls because I love to painted faces. The faces are not planned. I just pick up a pencil or brush and start to create a face.
