Ultrea

Ultrea is a female fronted hard rock band from Madison, WI. You can expect heavy cutting guitar and pummeling drums mixed with harmonic vocals and expressional screams. Member influences range anywhere from Top 40 rock music to post hardcore metal to ambient soundscapes. We try to make music that is dynamic and relatable, on multiple levels, to pull you in and touch as many lives as possible. This can be heard on our recently released EP: Ultrea \"Always Persevere\" which was recorded and mastered by our members. Ultrea means to always persevere. This is what we strive to do as a band and as individuals. Our goal is to make music with a positive message. We strive to make our fans feel as we do when we write and perform. We have been compared to bands such as Lacuna Coil, Evanescence, and Skillet. We\'ve opened for bands such as In This Moment, Sevendust, Lacuna Coil, CAVO, and Two Dollar Grey in some of Southern Wisconsin’s biggest venues. The band came together in March of 2012 and has not slowed down since.
