26 – Dancer – Choreographer Vanessa began dancing at the young age of 5. At age 16 she found her true passion in the style of hip hop. She is a well-versed dancer whose dance style is influenced by, but not limited to, hip-hop, lyrical, jazz and contemporary training. Recently, Vanessa was selected to be a choreographer and dancer for SHADE, an innovative new show collaborating abstract visual art and street dance performed at The Princess Theatre. Vanessa was selected to be part of Mad Dance House Agency in 2014 where she worked as a choreographer, dancer & teacher. In 2010, Vanessa completed her full time year of training at Raw Dance Company and trained in styles including; Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Popping, Locking, Break, Afro Jazz, Samba, Dancehall and Musical Theatre. Vanessa has been teaching at Brisbane & Gold Coast dance schools for nearly 10 years, some of these schools include; Mad Dance House, ADPI, Raw Dance Company, Dynamite Dance Academy & Dance Force. In 2010 Vanessa opened her own dance school in Brisbane, V-Hub Dance. Taking her passion for dance and sharing it with likeminded kids & teens. She is committed to the growth and change of the dance industry and providing correct education to dancers. In 2013 Vanessa was selected to teach and assist alongside World Famous Choreographers, Dave Scott & LaurieAnne Gibson as part of the International Dancers Workshop.
