Performing Art – New York - NYC

Veronica Chou has over ten years of dance experience, with extensive training in jazz, hip hop and other street styles since 2009. She’s been a professional performer appearing in TV shows, music videos and movies in Taiwan where she grew up. She found pole dancing in 2012 and fell in love with its perfect combination of sensuality, elegance, and strength. In 2015, she was selected by the world-renowned pole studio in NYC, Body&Pole;, as a work-study. She then moved to NYC to train with the best teachers around the world, including the pole dance icon, Marlo Fisken, and the world champions, Samantha Star and Magnus Labbe. At the same time she continued to strengthen/expand her foundation by cross training and taking advanced courses in other areas of dance. She now holds three teacher training certificates. After five years of training in NYC, she took her passion to the next level and vigorously participated in numerous competitions across the country. Her versatility and creativity along with her solid pole dance skills/artistry led to her success in more than half of the competitions she attended. Now Veronica teaches pole dancing in Hoboken, and started her own Jazz dance group in Manhattan. She hopes to inspire her audience to become a better person, not only physically, but also mentally.
