Visual Art – New York - NYC
Born and raised in NYC, I started painting 7 years ago spurred by an urge to create and curiosity for what could be brought forth. A formal training and professional experience in architecture has further developed the way I think of ideas as well as the way I execute them.
I enjoy contact with nature, which is quite a relief when spending most of my time in this dense urban habitat.
I\'ve lived in Montreal for a number of years as well as Eugene, OR in the pursuit of undergraduate and graduate degrees. Both places grew on me in different ways. In Montreal the plentiful alleys of graffiti captured my attention and in Oregon I was surrounded by beautiful vegetation that would truly impress in spring and fall. My experiences have helped shape how I look at the world and the types of images I am inspired to create.
