From his humble beginnings as a Line Cook at Zippy’s, Wade has risen to Chef de Cuisine at Alan Wong’s Honolulu. Now on his own, and preparing to launch his new restaurant, MW, Wade has refined his culinary skills to create the most unique and exciting meals from the freshest ingredients Hawaii has to offer. Through his Asian and European influences through travel, he takes our traditional local Hawaii “comfort” foods and creates new and exciting dishes. In 2012, he was awarded the Rising Star Chef Award. This Nationwide award is presented to a handful of top chefs under the age of 40. You will find, once tasting some of Wade’s creations, you will leave comforted and wanting more of what culinary delights he will have to offer.
