My Name is Jordyn Eva, my pronouns are she/her/hers. I'm a twenty six year old bi-sexual female who was raised in Vulcan Alberta but now based in Calgary, AB. I'm known as the artist ArtsyNotSmartsy and creator of the new clothing brand SickF*ck.Clothing. I love creating art that is both visually striking and thought-provoking. I'm a multi media artist and some of the mediums i often use are mixed media paintings, wall murals (smaller scale), hand drawn illustrations and graphic design; I am constantly pushing the boundaries and experimenting with different techniques. I enjoy using acrylic paints that are light reactive. A common theme in my work is the use of recycled materials such as magazines,CDs, costume jewelry and even the canvas I use; Sustainability and environmental consciousness are important values to me. My pieces often have surreal and psychedelic vibes. I am influenced from my vivid dreams,emotions,nature and wanting the world to have more vibrant colors. I want my art to make people feel mixed emotions taking the viewer on a journey through their own imagination.
