Visual Art – Toronto

During my time at George Brown College in Toronto, I embarked on a transformative exploration of commercial art. The structured curriculum provided me with a solid foundation in the principles of art and design, equipping me with essential skills and techniques that continue to inform my practice today. Through hands-on coursework, I honed my abilities in various artistic mediums, including painting, drawing, and mixed media. Beyond the confines of the classroom, I have embraced self-directed learning as a cornerstone of my artistic journey. Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of sources, including books, online tutorials, and artistic communities, I have continuously sought to expand my knowledge and push the boundaries of my creativity. By combining the structured learning environment of formal education with the freedom and flexibility of self-directed study, I have cultivated a multifaceted approach to art that is both rooted in tradition and open to innovation. My education has provided me with a strong technical foundation, while self-directed learning has empowered me to explore my own interests and develop a unique artistic vision. As I continue to evolve and grow as an artist, I remain grateful for the opportunities afforded to me by both formal education and self-directed learning. Each has played a vital role in shaping my journey, helping me to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to pursue my passion for art with purpose and conviction.
