Hi, I’m Olga.
An astrophysicist by training, I’m a dressmaker by passion. I create evening wear and custom gowns for weddings and special occasions. I believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable and confident in their formal wear, which can be achieved through personal fit and style. If you bring an idea or a design, I will technically adjust all the elements to create a piece that flows and fits to your body measurements. With over a decade of experience I have dressed brides, bridesmaids, flower girls and wedding guests.
Though dressmaking is my first love and passion I enjoy sewing with a variety of textiles and create garments for everyday use for me and my family. When I’m not sewing gowns, I refashion unused clothing into new styles. I sew clothing for myself using patterns by indie pattern designers; StaystitchCo patterns, Lore Piar patterns and Daria patternmaking just to name a few. When I have a particular style in mind, I draft my own sewing patterns. Every year I sew Halloween costumes for my kids and get them involved in the design and creation prosses. I enjoy the problem-solving aspect of sewing, pattern drafting and pattern hacking to create unique styles that not only look great but also fit well.
