Jamie Rae

Born in upstate New York, I spent most of my formative years around my father, who was a painter and musician before becoming an art teacher in The Pas Manitoba, where I was raised. When we moved to Canada my mom took up the hobby of jewelry making, and I made my first pair of earrings at six years old. Jewelry making became my favorite pastime, and I use the art techniques my father taught me and incorporate them into my pieces.
