Music – Boston

Odaine Williams is a multi talented Vocalist, Keyboard and Piano player. Born in Jamaica and growing up in the Boston area, he attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music at seventeen years of age where he cultivated his musicianship and established relationships that would eventually propel him to amazing opportunities in the music industry. They include: being the first music director for the “New England Urban Music Awards” (better known now as the “Boston Music Awards”). Playing in many reggae, pop and indie rock bands throughout the east coast. Touring with “The Harlem Gospel Choir,” playing behind and opening for various artists from “RnB” sensations “Trey Songz” and “Ginuwine” to reggae legend’s “Luciano” and “Mykal Rose” of “Black Uhuru” all the way to gospel recording artists “Kierra “Kiki” Sheard” “The Canton Spirituals” “Rance Allen” “Myron Butler” and more. Starting his journey at the tender age of eight, he played violin in school and then soon after developing a love for piano. He was fascinated by “Scott Joplin” and his various “Rags” as well as artists like “Chopin” “Bach” “Brandenburg” and many more which he enjoyed playing on the piano at a young age. He then later took up a deep interest in the arts of singing and began singing and playing in various churches in the New England area. Being raised in poverty and in addition a strict Caribbean upbringing has made his love for music strong and his faith in God even stronger. It has taught him to never give up, stay the course and be happy and comfortable with who you are in music and in life. Today Odaine can be found teaching at Berklee as well as recording and touring artists all over the country as he continues to pursue his passion for music.
