Moss Kouture was founded and created in 2020 by Model and Dancer Sherita Moss. Sherita is a returning RAW Artist Veteran who first got her big break into the fashion industry as a constant sought after runway model for the RAW Artist- Minneapolis and New York showcases. Moss Kouture is an Upscale Luxury Street Couture Fashion house, which specializes in using up-cycled and scrap fabric materials to create their men’s, women’s and unisex apparel.
Sherita, who is originally from the South Side of Chicago, IL also grew up in Minneapolis , MN. It was in the 6th grade, where she made the decision: Instead of accepting the tribulations of being an impoverished foster child constantly bullied for the clothes she wore, Sherita saw triumph in up-cycling and reconstructing some of the most iconic one of a kind pieces by simply using what she had at home, at thrift stores and local lost and found.. Because of this, Sherita has a strong passion for creating and maintaining her brands identity as a sustainable business. Her fashion shows are always a fuse of music influence with models and dancers; being that she comes from both. While her designs are usually a full range of bold colors, geometrical shapes, romantic and abstract patterns and a razzle dazzle of glittery materials for the finish. Each of her collections are created to spread a message or tell a story within the designs. The Moss Kouture brand believes that we can all coexist in this world that we all love... and it starts with wearing whatever we feel with confidence and personality.
