Photography – Nashville

I got my first camera with a promise that I would use it. My great granddaddy was somewhat of a collector and had, what I assumed at the time, was nothing short of the best there was. With an eager nod of assent, I set about proving myself. I climbed high up in the tree in my yard and perched myself there for hours; just me and my disposable camera, waiting for a bird to land. My creative pursuits eventually led me to Belmont where I took several B&W Film Photography classes and began to truly understand the mechanisms that make up a camera and discovered the art of creating and exposing an image. From then on, I've never really stopped try to make new images. From Florida, to Tennessee, to California and back again, my trusty side kick and I are always seeing, always growing, always exploring, always creating.
