Abi Prie

I’m a west coast kid currently in the south and an illustrator, dressmaker, ceramic artist, and biology enthusiast. I work with pen and marker for the most part and paint in acrylics and gouache whenever I get the chance. I grew up an artist raised by two engineers, and so I never have really separated my love for art and invention from science and exploration. I find that I love them the most when they are brought together, and my illustrations are highly inspired by skeletal studies, botany and zoology, and attempts to teach myself something new whenever I set out to create. As a lover and student of stories and storytelling, I also tend to incorporate whimsical or fantastical elements into my work as well as an emphasis on line work and color.
