Alejandra Hitos-Fájer

I am a Mexican painter. Since I was a child I always had an inclination for drawing and painting ... however life took me by other ways, they told me that art would not live and that it was not a "career" ... so I chose to study medicine (my second great love) ... so I have the degree of Surgeon and also study to have the subspecialty of Ophthalmology and Retina Traumatology. I exercised my career until 3 and a half years ago ... and finally I decided to open the doors to what I had kept inside me ... painting and love of art, I closed my office and ran to a store of materials to buy oils and an easel; and that's how it all began. That's why I consider myself an emerging artist, who learns according to his instinct and his heart tells him how to do each stroke. Last year I had the opportunity to attend an intensive 3-day course with the Mexican hyperrealist teacher Omar Ortiz and he helped me a lot to improve my technique. Currently my art studio is in Guadalajara and I have in mind to open new horizons to publicize my work.
