Alejandro Guevara was born in 1972, in Caracas the Capital of Venezuela. His mother: Cruz Omaira Moncada D' Guevara, also an artist, was a big influence on him early age. Alejandro started showing a special talent and interest for sketching, painting and pottery- while guided by his mother. His first salient drawing and pottery was made at age 8 years old.When he was 9 years old, he attended private classes with a famed artists of that community like Luis Moros and Pavon, who lived near his father’s hometown, "Barquisimeto”. With his guidance, he learned technical drawing, classical painting, and the use of plaster to make sculptures.In 1985, he enrolled in ”La Escuela de Artes Plásticas Matin Tovar y Tovar" in the same city. In 1988 he achieved a diploma in drawing, painting and pottery.In 1990 he moved back to the country’s capital, "Caracas" and started the major of "Artes Puras" in "Universidad Central de Venezuela" where he got exposed to all the differents tendencies of Art: Classic, Contemporary and Modern.In 2000 He moved to United States to explore America and lived in many states: Florida, Oregon, Kansas, Northern California, and finally in 2012 established himself in the City of Los Angeles. At the moment, Alejandro's main subject is to express the beauty of "Faces" influenced by a new movement call "Spontaneous Realism" which is simply "creating reality but using colors spontaneously""Anything and everything in the Universe is a piece of art waiting to be discovered"Alejandro Guevara 2019
