Visual Art – London
For as long as I can remember I have had an interest in the media and fashion industry, with an eye for detail and strong creative ideas. With a hairdresser for a mother it was not hard to believe that I would begin a career in beauty and hairdressing industry, so in 2001 I went to study business management and hairdressing at college. After graduating in 2004, my passion for new ideas, further knowledge and wanting to improve my English led me to the fashion capital of London.
Although loving London with its diverse culture and fashion, a phone call from an equally ambitious mother led me to Norway to help open and run a successful beauty and hair salon. This provided me with valuable experience both expressing my creativity but also building a successful business. We soon realised that we needed to provide diverse services with clients asking for nail design. So with a little research I soon had a new found passion for this medium.
With little resources in Norway and a growing need to learn everything about nails, I began an online course, practising at every opportunity and graduated in 2010. The medium of nails not only fulfilled my creative ambition, but also gave me my own project to work on. I was soon entering competitions and gained a first place last year, which lead to an independent move back to London.
After gaining valuable experience with various companies I have begun a successful freelance career
