Award winning artist and animator, Alejandra Leibovich (aka Aleloop), originally from Argentina, started her professional career in rotoscoping animated characters for the first TV show in Argentina with a mix of live action and 2D animation. Her artwork has been exhibited at MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art in Miami), Art Basel, San Diego Comic-Con, Red Dot Art Fair, Miami International Art Fair, Pop Santa Fe, Bear & Beard, Twelve 21, Lunar Boy, Pink Ghost Gallery, among others. Since her latest life changing Art Basel exhibition (showcased at the feature documentary Hitching a Ride on Entropy), Aleloop decided to study physics and go into real life business school. Resulting into a multimillion dollar personal development company listed into the 10 fastest growing companies in Miami and 4 consecutive times within the 2000 fastest growing companies in the USA. She uses her creativity to develop business intelligence software to run her company and her client’s. She developed a custom phone app to listen to company’s extensive content that is becoming its own radio station called “A World Uncertain Radio” For entrepreneurs By entrepreneurs. Aleloop divides her time between working on a sci-fi graphic novel, painting, developing software and taking on select animation and design projects for clients including 7UP, Dr. Pepper, Wolverine, X-MEN, Ironman, Nicktoons, MTV, etc. Aleloop’s press includes the USA TODAY, CBS, Discovery News, Miami Herald, Miami New Times, Fox Deco Drive, Trend Hunter, SunPost, Sun Sentinel, Motor Trend, among many others. Always an artist: After moving to the US, Aleloop transitioned into the online world at the Cartoon Network and TNT LA Online Creative Services Departments, animating their internationally recognizable cartoon characters for the Cartoon Network and TNT Creative Services for online and on-air. MTV Networks recruited Aleloop to relocate from Atlanta to Miami and re-design the image of Nickelodeon LA (Latin America) as the channel’s Senior Art Director of Creative Services. The team Aleloop recruited and directed re-conceived the artistic direction of the channel making it more “cool kid appealing”. Using a unique combination of audience investigative techniques, artistic direction, Lean Start-up and SCRUM methodologies Aleloop’s team implemented a record number of rapid iteration image changes for the channel to keep it fresh, relevant and unpredictable for the audience. All of this was accomplished on-schedule and under-budget. During her two years as Senior Art Director Nick LA, for the first time on the channel’s history, ratings improved from the 5th to the 1st place Most Watched Children’s Network. Within 18 months of Aleloop’s departure from Nick LA, the channel slid back to 5th in the ratings. MTV Networks asked Aleloop to take-over as Senior Art Director to launch Vh1 as a brand new channel for Latin America. Again, using a unique combination of audience investigative techniques, artistic direction, Lean Start-up and SCRUM methodologies Aleloop’s team implemented a succession of rapid iteration image changes for the channel to make and keep it fresh, relevant and unpredictable for the audience. Within the first two years, under her artistic direction the channel grew to 18 Million subscribers achieving 1st place in ratings for young adults which fuled further expansion into Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia in. Within 18 months of Aleloop’s departure from Vh1 LA, the channel was no longer in first postion. During this time Aleloop was also recruited to attempt the launch of LOGO, the first gay channel for Latin America. Aleloop lives in Miami with her husband and amazingly cute (no really) 3 year old.
