Performing Art – Miami
Alexandra was born an artist. Growing up in Miami to Cuban and Costa Rican parents with a father whose passions were philosophy and the arts, Alexandra thrived in a creative atmosphere. In 2012 she completed her bachelor’s in Fine Arts (BFA) majoring in painting and Art History from Florida International University.
Alexandra explores capturing movement, expression and emotion via painting and drawing. Her work is charged with sensuality, grace and fluidity and is a celebration of femininity. From ink studies to nearly life size paintings, Alexandra produces a raw and diverse portfolio of visual journeys.
As a Middle Eastern Dance performer, Alexandra strives for authenticity, spice and juicy flavor in her style. With over 10 years of experience performing, teaching and continuous learning, her work is an homage to the legends and figure heads of the art.
