Alexandra Evans
Performing Art – Seattle
Alex is a dancer originating from the Pacific North West. She grew up north of Seattle training in Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Tap. She now attends the University of Washington, teaches at several studios in the greater Seattle area, and is a member of Daniel Cruz's "Cruz Control". Most recently she has performed at Seattle Pride main stage, Pacific Northwest Ballet's "Next Step: Inside Out", Stage Notes' production of "The Addams Family" (as Morticia), and the US Special Olympics Opening Ceremony. She has also performed in Seattle dance community shows Soul Out, No Flex Zone, Hatch, Westlake Dance Center's "Sign of the Times", and Cruz Control's "Transition". Also this year she has orchestrated her own show "RESONATE", giving a scholarship to a pre-professional dancer, and has choreographed a production of "Little Shop of Horrors". Her goal is to promote community and conversation through performance art.
