An up and coming member of the Toronto hip hop scene, Aliyah is best known for her fresh take on lyricism layered over hard hitting hip hop and RnB sampled instrumentals. Aliyah released her debut album the Lucid Dreamz EP and was recently featured in the Toronto Guardian for an artist interview. Aliyah's ability to be versatile can be seen in her self-directed music videos, her clothing designs, her performances as well as her original cover art. Her new release "FUN" has elements of grunge fused with hip hop and is another example of Aliyah's unique sound.
