Visual Art – Portland
The first 18 years of my life were spent in Bellevue, Iowa, a small town nestled along the Mississippi River. I continued my education at Iowa State University where I studied apparel design and art.
After college, I worked in retail as a store manager while casually pursuing art on the side. As my experience and confidence grew more and more opportunities opened up for me including solo shows, online sales, and international patrons.
Today, my studio is in the home that I share with my husband on the outskirts of Portland. I’m currently working on bringing playfulness to my painting with looser brush strokes and bolder compositions.
