Amber Lotus Tribe

The Amber Lotus Tribe, San Antonio, Texas’s premiere American Tribal Style® & Tribal Fusion Bellydance group, has been mesmerizing audiences since 2011. We are an ATS®-based troupe who enjoy celebrating the delight of dance, the communication and synergy of Improv, and the sisterhood of Tribal Style Bellydance. We offer instruction at Amber Lotus Dance Studio in ATS® and our Amber Lotus ATS®-based variations, as well as Tribal Fusion, in ongoing classes. Our movements are spun from a language of the body as first originated by Carolena Nericcio and Fat Chance Belly Dance®. The Amber Lotus Tribe is comprised of three very talented performers; Valori Jenne’,who has 15 years of Musical Theater and 8 years of bellydance, Kris who has 5 years of bellydance & Kat who has 3 years bellydance and Irish Stepdance. Every Amber Lotus performance is a unique Tribal Belly Dance Experience in itself, with swirling skirts, ornate costumes and shimmying hips. Our dances are sometimes “spellbinding“, jovial and always improvised. Our movements are spun from a language of the body as first originated by Carolena Nericcio and Fat Chance Belly Dance®. The Amber Lotus Tribe is comprised of seasoned performers who have the versatility to adapt to any venue size. We dance to music from around the world, both traditional and modern club-style. Our performances include the use of finger cymbals, swords, veils and candles.
