Visual Art – Chicago

My bio - I\'m never any good at this. When I was a kid I liked taking things apart and putting them back together in my own way. Clocks.. jewelry... toys... electronics... Things haven\'t changed much. The way I put them back together has evolved and my selection process is much more refined, but all in all. I\'m still 9 years old making jewelry and collages in my bedroom at night. Why? B/c it\'s fun! B/c I love to create, b/c I love to have unique jewelry and art that says exactly what I want to say. And my designs are sometimes the only way I know how to say somethings. Around 9 i found art, around 22 I found beauty in the \"errors\", around 26 I found people who saw what I was trying to say and at 30 I\'ve found that no matter where I am in life, I\'ll always be designing something. Plain and simple. My preference is to work with only used or found materials as I think that *re*designing is key. We build upon existing knowledge, it works with materials too!
