Ana Niculae

I am a professional based in art and design, with an emphasis on leatherwork. My philosophy is rooted in the understanding that any form of conceptualization has at its core a universal seed of aesthetic and intrinsic function that extend beyond borders of specialized creative climates. As a result, I take pride interchanging space with figure, art with design, passionately experimenting with techniques and mediums that challenge established rules, while honoring and seeking to preserve artisanship. Some of these artworks include decorative and wearable masks, a medium that is very dear to my heart and blends aesthetics with storytelling about inner worlds, fashion accessories created as wearable art, costumes, footwear, interior decoration objects, mascots & props, sculptural applications and special builds. I am a scenography university graduate, with additional education and experience in graphic arts, print making & photography.
