Andrew Searles is one of the fastest rising stars on the Montreal comedy scene and has no plans of slowing down, amazing audiences along the way while discussing topics from his childhood to life in school, to romance, to his ethnic background of growing up in Canada. Named in the “Top 10 Best Stand-up Comedians in Montreal” four years straight by the Montreal Mirror, heard on XM Satellite Radio’s “Laugh Attack”, hosted the Montreal show “U Got Jokes” featuring comedians from BET, briefly seen on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, a role in the Kidnapper Films short production “SharkBoy” which debuted at the 2004 Just for Laughs Comedia Festival, and had his own comedy special debut in 2013 on National television for the new Canadian stand-up comedy show “No Kidding”. Also serving as producer, Andrew has co-produced and co-headlined 2 different Black Canadian shows; “Black in a Minute” with Kwasi Thomas which debuted in Montreal 2008 & Vancouver 2010. A regular stand-up comedy while debunking African-American stereotypes, and “The Underground Comedy Railroad” tour with co-producer/performer Rodney Ramsey, which showcased Canada’s top Black comedians. Andrew Searles has worked with the likes of Greg Morton, Steve Patterson, Richard Saunders, Russell Peters, Joey Elias, Jocko Alston, Sugar Sammy, The Doo-Wops, Al Lubel, Kenny Robinson, and many more.
