Angelle is a recording artist, singer-songwriter actress, model out of Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in a Haitian musical family, her biggest influences were two of her deceased uncles who enjoyed commercial success in Haitian genre. Also Angelle’s deceased father, who believed in her dreams from the time she was a little girl. Angelle inspires to continue their legacy that they left behind. Angelle has won several awards for her songwriting abilities, starting in high school with the Grammy Day competition for the Grammys and making it to the semi-finals in the Song of The Year 2013 contest for her original song “Why”. Angelle has performed across the states. Notable performances and places Angelle has perform includes: Webster Hall (Manhattan), Melrose Ballroom (Queens), The Wick (Brooklyn), Milkriver,(Brooklyn) The Fillmore Silver Spring (Maryland), Mixx 360 (Boston), Howard Theater (Washington DC), Dusk Providence (Rhode Island), Social Butterfly (Brooklyn), Club Stereo (Montreal Canada), During Angelle’s eight months hiatus due to vocal surgery, Angelle refocused her energy and started to work from deep within. Angelle worked and completed her new project “The Rebirth” which will be released in 2020. Her new debut single “All I Want” is Angelle’s anticipated new single which will be released on January 6, 2020. “All I Want” is a Haitian-tinged bop co-produced by Angelle with an R&B flavor which pays homage to Haiti with a complete Kompa breakdown.
