Anime Ameen

Hi, my name is James Ameen Dixon. I was born in TX, and raised there until my mom finished fashion design school in El Paso. After that we moved to Seattle where she married a dr, named Kyle Oh. I’d always steal his anatomy books and stare at different muscle groupings. I also loved anime, as a young kid I’d sneak into our entertainment room with my brothers and watch Toonami with the volume low. As I got older I would go head first into every art related endeavor I could get my hands on! Sculpting, audio engineering, videography, photography, acting and finally... the digital realm! I was blown away! Nothing has ever been this efficient, economical, or cost efficient! I was in love, and so I began my art career, mixing the knowledge of what I know, and what I’m still discovering. My love for both anatomy and anime, mixed with an influence of fashion design, is what brought me to this point today! I hope you enjoy my art as much as I’ve enjoyed the journey creating it! -AA
