Allison Osborn

Allison Osborn grew up on the shores of Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver, Indiana. With views of inspiration always around her, she was naturally gravitated to the visual arts. She received her Bachlor of Fine Arts in Painting and concentrated in Curatorial Studies at Maryland Institute College of Art, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2011. In her career, she has participated in several group shows and had five solo shows. In 2010, she had an exhibit for four months at Chicago’s Harper Gallery on Michigan Avenue. Allison has collectors both nationally and internationally, including West Africa and London, and has been commissioned for custom pieces for the Steinbrenner family as well as professional athletes. She’s inspired by artists such as Georgia O’Keffe, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Robert Motherwell, Willem De Kooning, Joan Mitchell, Barnett Newman, Henri Matisse and William Turner.
