Visual Art – San Diego
I was born in Memphis, TN but raised in Lima, OH. I attended the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, IN, graduating in May of 2011 with a BA in Studio Art & Minor in Business. I then moved to San Diego shortly after graduation with my Naval Officer husband, Danny.
My work consists of printmaking,illustration and other handmade upcycled materials. It allows me to embrace the emotion and sometimes spontaneity of the work. My style consists of harsh, crisp lines created through printmaking, depicting organic imagery while simultaneously balancing the geometric splashes of color.
My content often focuses on change, development, evolution and our overall adaptation to it all as well as preservation of things in a natural state. My work may have serious, semi cynical, passionate meanings and undertones but it is simultaneously a beautiful image that the viewer can enjoy as is. THe other main focus of my work is our interactions with events, individuals and the world. How everything is connected is and the
smallest thing can create the largest ripple. Everything has an affect for good or bad.
I live for the moment and what each day has to offer. I can\'t say \"Thank You\" enough all those supportive members around me. I strive each day to continue evolving in my work and learning as I go along. Art is in my essence and I will never rid myself of it;
