My name is Cassandra Karina Goncalves. I was born in Luanda, Angola and immigrated to the united states at the age of 5 years old. Awesome let's get to the good stuff now!
I started drawing at a very young age, probably in kindergarten. I have always been a creator, I love making crafts and doodling in my notebook. I stated in elementary school in art classes. My teacher used to make us fun drawings and paintings with cool techniques. I always excelled, I always put my all into my work and I loved taking the time and making something beautiful. My love for art only progressed from there. During middle school and high school, I made the most of out the art rooms by staying late after school, picking up a studio class instead of keeping my free periods and going as often as I could. My favorite thing about being an artist is exploring all of the different ways I can create. I love painting and drawing but most of all I love creating so ill never be afraid to try a new medium.
