I paint feelings. That's what it all comes down to, at the very essence of art and music and dance. It could be matters of the heart or the simple urge to make something beautiful, but right at the core, we live for what we feel. Right at the core, I want you to feel what I feel. And we're not just talking about the easily categorized "love, sad, happy" feelings. Think about our real feelings. Our feelings, our real and true feelings, are seldom so simple. We love, but with a bittersweet tinge from the taste of loves gone wrong. We trust, but rarely without reservation.
