Artisticakes by Myretta

Myretta Ballou is a cake creator from Broken Arrow Oklahoma. Her craft is unique and she can hardly be labeled as just a "hobby baker”. She truly is a sugar ARTIST. For as long as she can remember, Myretta has expressed herself through creative outlets like writing, music performance, production, and painting. She has always had a creative eye and passion for art but her craft of edible art and broad works with sugar, like 3D work is relatively new. About two years ago, a family member had asked her to make a cake for a special occasion, she did and she created something wonderful. Myretta then fell into a true love and she could not stop, thus Artisticakes by Myretta was born. Myretta takes on a full plate of cake along with her full time job as a 911 operator and mother of 3. She has a beautiful big dream to open a store front in the near future that offers something to this area that you cannot find anywhere else. *Artisticakes by Myretta is a RAW chosen Artist 2014 *Artisticakes by Myretta won Tulsa Peoples Readers Choice for Best Bakery 2015
