Lauren Cheney

Being an Arizona native and ASU graduate I am very excited to continue showing my art locally. I find inspiration in the beauty of the human figure, leading me to recreate the familiar form primarily using oil paints. I intentionally incorporate bright color and shape to evoke emotion from the viewer. Each response is unique and I strive to have my work make that emotional, sometime unexplainable, human connection between the art and viewer.
