My name is Ricardo Mavin I would describe myself as a patient, analytical person.
Beginning my creative journey through art at the young age of 3, I was born artistic, and born to be a creative force the world. My family encouraged me to continuing growing as an artist. I also felt a connection with asian art and martial arts. My father who passed in 2009 was a big influence in my training. Over the years I became attached to music and making music during high school. I started recording hip hop, r&b style music in 2005 and continue till today. Somehow my artistic journey lead me into classroom of various charter, public, and private schools teaching art to elementary, middle, and high school. Learning how to teach my gift has been a rigorous path, but rewarding in many ways. Im always seeking ways of how I can blend my talents in order to make them my main source of income. Im a dreamer, and an optimist at heart. Im deeply fascinated with religion and spirituality and how they work in our lives. As I continue this journey of being an artist, teacher, musician, I hope to bring a new creative and original perspective to the world of visual art.
