Aaron Artrip Prints

Visual Art – Atlanta

Aaron Artrip is an Atlanta based artist and printmaking educator. After receiving his BFA in Printmaking from Kennesaw State University, he is continuing to hone his printmaking techniques for a variety of applications, as well as exhibiting work in multiple Atlanta galleries. While showing work locally, Aaron has furthermore been commissioned to produce artwork for Orange Guitar Amplifiers and The Zuckerman Museum of Art. As a current Artist-In-Residence at his alma mater, Artrip provides assistance to printmaking Professor Valerie Dibble. He uses the facilities to not only produce his work, but also to further educate School of Art and Design students about the intricacies of printmaking. Additionally, he is working with the city of Acworth along with The Acworth Cultural Arts Center as part of a team to develop a printmaking studio entitled Red Onion Press: Letterpress and Printmaking. Red Onion Press will be introducing printmaking to the City of Acworth next year as a way to provide an artistic outlet through visual communication. As an avid supporter of printmaking and the arts, Aaron has found his niche as an art educator rooted in printmaking in hopes of giving others the joy of producing original hand pulled prints. In March of 2015, Aaron will be presenting a technical demonstration at Southern Graphics Council International at The University of Tennessee Knoxville.
