Music – Miami

Ashalei Nickole started her singing journey at the age of 5. Growing up she was heavily influenced by her father and other family members who sang. Anything musical Ashalei went after both her parents supported. She picked up how to play piano by ear, so her mom put her in private piano lessons. Ashalei played the piano from 3rd grade to 5th grade. Moving to Ohio ended her piano lessons with her one and only favorite piano teacher Mrs. Brenda Day. Never the less, Ashalei was still heavily involved with singing in her church choir, sining solo’s at different churches and even joining her school choir. By the time she was 14, her dad invested in a home studio. And that's when the magic began. She spent her days after school make beats in garageband, moving onto recording her own vocals to her music. She realized that she had a gift and knowing that she ran with it.. Self expression always favored more in her music. Feeling as if she was trapped in her own world with only one option given to escape. She enrolled in Full Sail University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Recording Arts in Spring of 2014. In the summer of 2015, Ashalei began working with her now producer Mafyozo. Over the years they worked together on various projects and single releases. In 2016, She finally found her sound and N.U.D.E. was created. N.U.D.E. stands for Never Underestimate Da Experience. After two years of diligently working and writing to complete her album. On November 30th 2018, N.U.D.E was finally born. Ashalei sings about vibrant life experiences while she lived in California, some good and some bad, She wants to remind people to live life to the fullest, never underestimating the life that has been given to us
