Aubry Roach

I\'m a young artist in the Dallas area. I usually introduce myself as an artist rather than a photographer because I feel like so many people forget the art behind photography. Photography is something I started when I was around 11 years old and has become my full blown passion. I moved to Dallas (from a tiny town) earlier this year to push myself farther with it, hoping LA or New York to be my end destination in my life-long vision of things. I just feel as if I\'m always looking through a lens. I\'ve found Dallas to be very commercial about their approach to photography, which is what led me to RAW. Quickly seeing that RAW doesn\'t limit artists, but rather pushes for the next big thing is what excited me so much about RAW. I\'m always wanting to push boundaries and make people think while giving the \"looker\" an image to really visually excite them. I feel like RAW shakes things up, and I like that.
