Visual Art – Charlotte

Through a combination of formal education, conversation, and internal exploration, I have come to understand the pattern through which I experience, and am changed by, life events. Everything I hold onto is part of an ever-changing memory that has deep physical, emotional, and psychological effects on me over time. I use the steps REFLECT, ACCEPT, EVOLVE, and CONVEY, what I like to call the 4 pillars, to process those memories and free myself from any paralyzing negative effects. Since memory is not physical or tangible, the physical creation of art ensured that I was able to work through a memory fully, and in a balanced manner.
