Beauty – Washington, D.C.
My name is Winnie Hartman-Gross. I’ve been doing makeup professionally for 3 years. My brand name is A Winning Blush. Ever since I was two years old, I’ve had the artistic ability to draw and paint. My mom said when I was two years old, my sister had a desk filled with crayons, paints, markers, and pencils and I would sit there for hours just drawing and painting! As I got older that gift never went away. I remember watching a movie that had many special effects makeup in it and that was when I knew I wanted to do makeup and I decided to make it into a career. I can honestly say that makeup is a true passion of mine. What I love the most about makeup is that you can create ANYTHING with it. My dream is applying makeup and special effects makeup for TV, film, and theatre. What I love the most about my career is putting a smile on my clients’ faces, and seeing their excitement after a makeup application. Seeing them happy, makes me happy. One of my highlights was when I did 2012 New York Fashion Week and I made up my first celebrity client, Nic Pace from America’s Next Top Model cycle 5. I’ve also done work for the 2013 Inaugural ball, 2012 and 2015 New York fashion week, 2013 Maryland Fashion Week, Blue Sky Films,WUSA9 news, Bad girls club, Laurel's House of horror, DC and LA RAW Artists, and received my first IMDB credit in 2015.
